Each book included a card model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book I acquired is from 1955\/1956 and includes a model of the Lockheed Super Constellation in TWA scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The model is pretty simple but is printed on quality paper, especially the silvery color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to keep the book intact, I scanned the model and built it from the scan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/starry-side.com\/wpe\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/uberall-dabei.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AVIA MODELL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one of the lesser known German model publishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;Avia Verlag&#8217; from Aachen was founded in1953 and published at least 22 model airplanes. I purchased two: F-84 and F-86. They are high quality models.  I built copies in order to preserve the rare originals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional details about this model designer can be found in the book series &#8216;\u00a0Zur geschichte der\u00a0 kartonmodellbaus&#8217; (history of card models) published by the AGK association. The book are in German and contain deep research about a large number of card model designers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kartonmodellbau.org\/publikationen\/\">https:\/\/www.kartonmodellbau.org\/publikationen\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The models are in 1:33 and sometimes 1:40 scale.
